No, the base is solid and stable enough to not require anchoring down. Anchoring brackets are included nonetheless.

In applications where operating speeds exceed 4 cycles per minute, we recommend using additional safety components—such as the FLEX-0830—to ensure optimal protection. However, depending on your specific application, TOMA™ can operate without added protection if its speed is limited to 4 cycles per minute or lower.
